Vickesh is a software engineer that has spent 12 years building mobile apps for brands. After becoming frustrated with the amount of waste and lack of transparency the food system, he decided to do something about it. In 2020, he launched Horizon, which has now become the leading recycling app on the App Store. 

Supported by the Subak Fellowship, Vickesh aims to openly publish the data captured by Horizon to empower consumers to make sustainable choices and help companies reduce the impact of their products.
