Subak Australia's Call to Act Smarter on Climate Change
We are thrilled to celebrate the close of another impactful year working with smart climate change companies across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Driving transformative change for a sustainable and resilient future for the planet, Subak Australia has grown into a village of committed and collaborative Members.
We thrive on collaboration and knowledge-sharing to maximize impact and drive positive change within the climate space. And our commitment to supporting climate-focused not-for-profits (NFPs) remains firm. In the past few years, Subak Australia has become an important hub for all our Members and Fellows to increase their connectivity and add to their research.
Our data-centric initiatives empower our NFP organisations and Fellows to provide evidence for sustainable decision-making. Together we have facilitated informed action to mitigate climate change for government authorities and for communities and businesses to address critical climate issues.
The collaborative ecosystem we have created is a hub of expertise, innovation, and shared knowledge. Subak’s curated workshops, personalised coaching, and knowledge management systems are designed to help our Members avoid common business pitfalls, build community networks and create the insight and evidence for policy-makers to transition more quickly to environmentally focused policies. As well as providing a platform for expertise and collaboration to ensure our Members gain valuable insights, Subak also offers financial backing through our regranting program.
To continue to drive evidence-based systemic action on climate change, we are looking for further and increased funding support from private foundations, philanthropists, individuals, and corporations with an interest in and passion for nature.
We also welcome project requests to collaborate with our existing Members and Fellows. Climate change demands diverse expertise and resources. To this end, we also seek new partners to join us post-COP 28 to contribute to our journey toward a more sustainable world at this critical time.
